Crowdfund Live: Ideas & Projects

3RDSPACE presents an evening of shared stories, ambitious ideas, and audience funded micro-grants for creatives. Adam Remsen THE CO-FOUNDER OF QUARK THEATRE Quark Theatre originated in 2015 when Tony Isbell, Louisa Koeppel, and Adam Remsen came together to mount an independent production of Samuel Beckett’s Krapp’s Last Tape and Ohio Impromptu. The run was a success, garnering enthusiastic audiences and critical praise from local reviewers. When the show closed, the three decided to form a company dedicated to the kind of thoughtful, challenging theatre that they loved, and that they felt was underrepresented in the Memphis theatre scene. Quark's goal is to focus on works that have not received local productions, especially (but not exclusively) recent plays.
